Socio-Economic Groups

Socio-economic groups is very similar to demographics in the sense that it’s stereotypically categories sections of the population however this time based on their occupation. It is used to reflect purchasers wealth and are often defined as follows:

A- Higher managerial, administrative, professional

B - Intermediate managerial, administrative, professional

C1- Supervisory, clerical, junior managerial

C2 - Skilled manual workers

D- Semi-skilled and unskilled manual workers

E - Casual labourers, pensioners, unemployed
